Rāua Villa, Queenstown - with Parking

A cosy and warm villa. The host is very responsive and accommodating. Super convenient spot! Positive: Very aesthetic interior and well-kitted out kitchen. Easy to locate keys for the bollard for our reserved parking space. Well-insulated during the colder months, too. A very descriptive process from check in to check out. Negative: On the surface, the villa was overall tidy. However, the deep clean needs more work e.g., handle bars in the kitchen were quite grimy and the floors have not been mopped. Some utensils/cookware also needed another dishwasher cycle. The surrounding properties and environment also require a bit of maintenance/landscaping.

Overall we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the cleanliness and location for the price. Positive: The location is fantastic, easy walking distance to the Five Mile complex with large supermarket, great quality cafes and restaurants. Easy 10 min drive into the heart of Queenstown which also allows you to dodge the traffic if heading out to arrowtown and the wineries. Negative: The property is clean, modern, and easily accessible. However it is very small. The bathroom is only big enough for 1 person to use at a time with no bench or storage space. Just something to be mindful of if travelling with friends or family. Workable for a couple but for more than two people the cramped space could be uncomfortable.
