Queenstown Dart Retreat - with parking

Positive: Great apartment. Spacious, warm, great location closer to the snow, good value Negative: I don't like posting negative reviews but I am posting this because I raised my concerns with the property manager after our stay and didn't hear back. I would not recommend this property unless the security issue is fixed. The entry doors here and smart locks with the pin code. Someone unknown to us unlocked our door at 10.15pm on the first night of our stay giving us a real scare. The following day the property manager helped change our pin code but when I asked why the unit number formed half our original pin code, I was told that randomising door codes is too big of an administrative task when managing multiple properties in the complex. This isn't an unacceptable reason to compromise the security and comfort of guests. There was a party in the neighbouring unit until about 11.30 so we suspect someone from there or their guest remembered the first 2 digits, 10, was followed by the unit number for the pin because they unlocked our door then realised and moved on. This shouldn't be possible and gave us a real scare. Separately, the living room rug desperately needs an underlay to stop it sliding around, or a heavier replacement as it was a constant trip hazard. My 2 year old daughter had a big egg on her forehead from tripping on the rug and falling into a chair leg.

we travelled for work and it was perfect location easy to get into very warm. Positive: Beautiful warm home great location Negative: nothing it was perfect

It has been a great experience to stay here. Positive: The location is very good, close to shopping and restaurants.
